Railway station
The next railway station is located in Zell am See (9 km away from Viehhofen). If you arrive by train you can use either the local bus which runs every hour or you take a taxi. Inforamtion and schedules on www.oebb.at

Bank – change money

In Viehhofen you can find a Raiffeisenbank it is opposite the Spar-shop in the Raiffeisen building. In this building you also can find the tourist information. In this building you can find a cash machine. 

Bedlinen

Bedlinens will be provided. 

Shop

There is a small shop in the center of Viehhofen, only 5 minutes walking distance from our house. 

Dorfstadl

Only 5 minutes walking distance from the house you will find the restaurant “Dorfstadl” it is located in the building of Landall-Greenparks. If you would like to make a reservation either phone the owners on your own: +43 6542 68016 or ask your landlords to make a reservation.

Hotel Oberwirt

In the Hotel Oberwirt there is a À-la-carte-Restaurant. The hotel is located in the center of Viehhofen. 

Indoor pools

There is a public indoor pool in Zell am See. (9 km) www.freizeitzentrum.at
In Kaprun you can find a Hotel with a public indoor pool and Sauna. (15 km): www.tauernspakaprun.com 

Towels

You don´t have to bring your own towels. You get them from us. 

Internet

You can use WIFI free of charge on request. 

Parking

You can park your car free of charge in front of the house. 

Parking at the skilift

At every skilift you can park free of charge. If you park your car see the skipass ticket office to validate your parking ticket. 

Toboggan run - Saalbach - Spielberghaus

Price: 8 € for PistenBully transport up to the hut & toboggan rental
Price: 5 € just for toboggan rental

Pick-up point at “Saalbach Spielbergkurve” at the following times:
12.00 o´clock and from 5.00 pm to approx. 9.00 pm every 45 minutes
The Spielberhaus toboggan run is approx. 3 km long.
Walk to the Spielberghaus: approx. 45 minutes 

Toboggan run - Hinterglemm - Reiterkogelbahn

Operating hours:
Daily 8.30 am – 4.15 pm

Evening operation:
Monday – Saturday from 6.00 pm until 9.30 pm (illuminated till 11 pm)

Toboggan rental per day: € 7,50
Deposit per toboggan: € 30,-- (available at the Reiterkogelbahn valley station)

Attention: Only toboggans rented directly from the lift company can be used on the toboggan run – use of own toboggans is strictly prohibited! 

Skibus

During daytime the skibus runs between Viehhofen and Schönleiten every 10 to 20 minutes. Service is offered free of charge for ski pass holders. 

Skipasses

You can buy your skipass at every skilift or you can buy it at the tourist information center in Viehhofen. 

Skischool

In Viehhofen there is one skischool – Schischule Oberlader. The skischool is located in the building of Landall Greenparks, Restaurant Dorfstadl. 

Skilifts

In Viehhofen there is one skilift at the beginner´s slope (Babylift) just beside the main road. (behind the Rezeption Landall Greenpark – Schischule Oberlader – Restaurant Dorfstadl)

The other skiers go to the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn. (either with the skibus or by car) The Schönleitenbahn is only 4 km away from Viehhofen. A 7,5 km long skislope leads directly to Viehhofen (Nr. 68). 

Ski rentals

Sport Embacher and Sport Oberlader in Viehhofen. 

Ski locker room

There is a ski locker room in the cellar of the Appartementhaus. You can store your ski equipment there.
